Opening Ceremony (3rd day)

I woke up late that day and I left my room like smashed boat. The opening ceremony was held at 10 AM. I joined Mrs. Wunwi’s english class bofore and went to opening ceremonial after that.

On the opening ceremonial include orientation for us, we met all the teachers and lecturer from Demonstration of Thepsatri Rajabhat University and Anuban Lop Buri School. We introduced our self and took photos together.

I’ve placed to teach in Demonstration School of Thepsatri Rajabhat University to teach biology. The director of the school is very nice and kind. She is majoring in biology too and she told me to ask and told her everything we want to know and anything we need.

After that opening ceremony and orientation finish Mrs. Kanya as the vice president of our host University treat us lunch. I ate noodle with chicken, the noodle was delicious. Then Mr. Lookhin took us to Demonstrtion School to showed us our office and looked around the school. And some of my friends met their mentor. I didn’t met my mentor that day because she had schedule outside to another school. I met her o the day after tomorrow.

It was tiring day becuse we walking around the university and school. Nisa and I went to Mrs. Wanwisa’s office to wait her finished her activity and going home. We stoped by a market to bought food for dinner.

Now I’ll tell you about my second day in Lop Buri, Thailand..

We met other group in supermarket

It was a nice weather in the morning. I woke up on 6 AM and got ready to go to Thepsatri Rajabhat University on 9 AM for our first meeting. Mrs. Monthicha (P’Dao) told us to gather in TRU library. They would take us go aroud the university and introduce us to their students so we can be friend with them.

We came to Mrs. Nook’s class and introduce our self. The studets are friendly. The separate into 10 group to took us go to downtown. They were very excited. So I chosed On to be my guide. She took me to her friends. Their name are Fern, Pai, Sook, and Pon. They are so friendly. I like them so much. We had a lunch in cafetaria in TRU, they asked me first if I could eat pork or ot, so I said I couldn’t eat pork. We ate spicy chicken with fried egg for lunch. After that they took me to supermarket for bought a sim card and try papaya salad. They treated me. I ate papaya salad with pala and without pala. And then we took a bus to go to a temple. I payed 5 bath for the bus. There were so much monkey and I have to be crefull with my things. They were so taking care of me, thats why I like them so much. I was having so much fun.

We came back to TRU and I said good bye because I had to go back homebecause tomorrow I would have Opening Ceremony in the morning. Nisa (my housemate) and I went to Mrs. Wanwisa’s office and we got ready to go home. On our way home, we stopped at market to buy dinner.

SEAMEO SEA-Teacher 4th Batch Project

Halo guys..

This is the first time I write in my blog. So, I’ll start from my departure from Indonesia to Thailand for joining SEA-Teacher 4h Batch Project.

There are seven student from my university that joining this project. My derpature was on 7 August 2017. The other friends already arrived in Thailand and Filipines since their departure was on 6 August 2017. Two of us took a flight from Palu at 7.15 AM. We had transit in Jakarta. When we arrived, my friends from another university that will be placed on the same host university (Thepsatri Rajabhat University) told us that they already arrived in Jakarta and told us to meet up because we had same flight to Bangkok and it was delayed for 3 hours. I was very happy to meet them. They are nice friendly and we got close immadietly.

We arrived at Don Mueang International Airport on 7.30 PM and it was raining a lot. Our coordinators from Thepsatri Rajabhat University already waitung for us in arrival gate. Mrs. Monthicha Chanthron, Mrs. Wunwi, And Mr. Lookhin were very nice. It wasn’t an ackward situation. They took us to Seven Eleven mart to buy our needs and snack because it was already a late night to had a dinner outside while our hosts were waiting for us and it took 2 hours to reach Lop Buri province.

We arrived at Lop Buri Province about 10 PM and then we went to Thepsatri Rajabhat Univeresity. Our hosts were waiting for the ten of us. We moved our bagages from van to Mrs. Wanwisa’s car. I will live in her house with my friend from UNM (Makassar State University), Nisa. We arrived at her house about 10.30 PM. She showed us our room and told us to take a rest since it was a very awesome and tiring journey. It such a lovely house with comfortable rooms.
